Clery Act Reporting

The Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act is a federal statute requiring »Æ¹ÏÊÓƵs and universities participating in federal financial aid programs to maintain and disclose campus crime statistics and security information.

The Annual Campus Security and Fire Safety Report is produced each year in October. This document contains crime statistics three years of crime statistics for reported crimes which occurred on within a specific geographic area, known as campus "Clery Geography." The safety and security of the St. Thomas campus is a collective responsibility and faculty, staff, and students must work together to ensure St. Thomas is a safe and supportive environment for all members of our »Æ¹ÏÊÓƵ. Some »Æ¹ÏÊÓƵ members are designated as Campus Security Authorities.

We have established an Emergency Notification System that contacts all members of the campus »Æ¹ÏÊÓƵ via email, phone, and website notifications. This system is used to alert the campus to an immediate and/or significant danger to the health or safety of members of the campus »Æ¹ÏÊÓƵ.
