2020 Strategic Plan
Thanks to the steadfast hard work of so many in our St. Thomas »Æ¹ÏÊÓƵ and the many accomplishments that stemmed from our 2020 strategic plan we are on a vibrant path toward expanding our impact.
The 2020 plan led to many important accomplishments, including:
- The launch of , a two-year »Æ¹ÏÊÓƵ program for promising students who want to obtain a four-year »Æ¹ÏÊÓƵ degree and face financial, academic and social obstacles
- Launch of the Center for the Common Good
- The founding of the that reimagines how future professionals can solve systemic health care problems
- Establishment of a new undergraduate core curriculum
- Holistic and integrated health offerings through the Center for Well-Being
- Retention success through the Center for Student Achievement
- Increased belonging through the Veterans Resource Center and the Intercultural Center
- A branding strategy, "All for the Common Good"
- A comprehensive campus master-planning process
- create[space], a "maker space" in Anderson Student Center
- Opening of the Iversen Center for Faith
- Historic renovation of the Chapel of St. Thomas Aquinas
- A $2.1 million campus microgrid research and testing facility
- Opening of two new residence halls
- STELAR, a St. Thomas E-Learning and Research Center to enhance teaching and learning through innovative, transformative technologies
- Nearly $100 million in philanthropic gifts to scholarships
Created through a collaborative and inclusive effort that encourages input from across the campus, St. Thomas 2025 will help us recommit to ongoing priorities, leverage new opportunities and intentionally build the future that we collectively envision for St. Thomas.
